Our warehouse team is the largest part of our operations here at Corvette Central. Their duties include receiving, fulfillment, invoicing, and shipping – that’s a lot!
The Warehouse Journey
The warehouse journey begins when parts arrive from outside vendors or our manufacturing department. Our Receiving team immediately goes to work checking in all the parts, ensuring they’re correct and nothing is damaged or missing. After the parts are checked in, they’re packaged and labeled – always with a constant eye on quality control. Then, the next stop is fulfillment.
The Fulfillment team has double the amount of duties. First, they put away the inventory on shelves or on one of our six carousels. They also pick the parts to fill orders. When your order is processed, our automated warehouse management system lets team members know the locations of the parts to be pulled. Next, your order is prepared to be invoiced and shipped.
The Invoicing team is essentially the “checkout” in our warehouse process. The team invoices your order, and the system automatically charges your payment method on file. Once processed, it moves on to the Shipping department. This is where your order is securely and carefully packed and loaded on either a UPS or USPS truck to start its journey to you.
While each department within the Warehouse team has a regular crew, everyone is cross-trained to help where needed, keeping orders moving out the door to you! This team takes pride in delivering the highest-quality parts and providing you with the best customer service possible.
