Corvettes at Carlisle: A Lasting Legacy

Thousands of Corvettes cruise into Carlisle, PA in August each year for the world’s largest Corvette-only show, Corvettes at Carlisle. Bill Miller and the late Chip Miller (no relation) built Corvettes at Carlisle into a truly unique event that every Corvette enthusiast can appreciate. The event has now passed on to their sons, Bill III and Lance, who strive to keep the Corvette legacy alive and well.

42 Years and Counting

We’ve been a proud part of this event for 42 years, as we were one of the original vendors for the first show in 1982. The show has continually gained popularity and more vendors have joined the ranks. These vendors range from swap meet sellers to high-end parts manufacturers and everything in between, giving all Corvette enthusiasts something to love.

Being one of the originals allowed us to choose where our booth spaces would be. We selected spaces D86-91, behind the grandstand and near the food vendors, a spot we have maintained year after year.  We’ll be in the same location yet again with free catalogs, parts on display, and, as always, our experienced and knowledgeable team members present to answer your questions. Being at the show allows us to meet our customers face-to-face, something we look forward to more than anything.

Corvette Activities

Although stopping by our booth should rank highly on your to-do list, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy during the event. Thousands of Corvettes from all generations and locations in various build styles attend, featuring everything from NCRS-scored restorations and wild Restomod creations to the newest accessory and parts packages on the market. These Corvettes serve as a true inspiration if you are thinking about your next project! Other activities include autocross racing, exhaust competition, and more!

And, speaking of the newest, a special display of the 2024 Corvettes at the Carlisle event is one of the earliest public appearances of the new Corvette ZR1. This will certainly draw a crowd, as the outrageous new turbocharged combination has made the rounds on the internet.

Another feature area will be the Corvette Challenge Car Reunion, a special gathering of 1988-1989 specially prepared race cars. The theme of this year’s Chip’s Choice is “Mean Corvettes”,” promising a bevy of ferocious-looking beasts!
